Didactic Portion:

  • Review anatomy and physiology highlighting the aging face and areas to maximize aesthetic outcomes.

  • Discuss and emphasize high risk areas of injections as well as major vessels and their locations when mapping out the face.

  • Review aseptic protocol in depth and materials needed to minimize adverse events.

  • Practice stimulation of treating an occlusion versus compression and review photos of skin reactions to determine protocols.

  • Review consistent photography and videography for capturing high-quality before and after photos.

  • Discuss techniques for consistent and accurate documentation of treatment outcomes.

HANDS-ON PORTION:

  • Engage HCP’s in hands-on training for hyaluronic acid fillers: focusing on jawline, chin, jowls, melolabial folds, oral commissures, and neck.

  • Allow HCP’s to perform full-face assessments on their own to perfect formulating a plan-of-care.

  • Provide one-on-one guidance and feedback during the hands-on practice.

  • Demonstrate proper injection techniques and provide guidance during the hands-on practice.
